Both coastal stretches and inland areas are punctuated with places where visitors can experience amazing adventures.
One such example is the Serradal-Serratella trail network, which is an incredible way of exploring one of the coastline’s oldest communication axes – connecting all of the maritime settlements from Nules to Almenara – by bike. Other examples include the Via Augusta and Route 8 of the EuroVelo network, which extends between the cities of Athens and Cádiz.
The inland area represents a spectacular setting for hiking and mountain biking. The Sierra de Espadán Natural Park is a particularly good location for these activities, offering routes of varying difficulties that weave their way through gorgeous forests. Visitors will also have the opportunity to use multiple climbing and via ferrata facilities in the area, and they will also be able to kayak their way down Europe’s longest navigable underground river.
